About meEver
since early childhood Dagmar felt a strong connection to animals. Well,
so do lots of people... But for her, her passion has translated into
close attention to what works and what doesn't in helping animals to
feel and perform better.
During
her lifetime she was lucky to share many years with a lot of dear
companions - dogs, cats, birds, fish, horses, rodents and many more. If
she had followed her instincts she would have been a vet today, but she
never could stand the thought of putting an animal asleep. So she
stayed away from that occupational opportunity and instead became a
Master of Engineers. She also had a successful career in sales, was the
owner of a literacy agency, but she was always searching for real
fulfilment. During all those years she never stopped studying whatever
she could find about animals. Only in her 40ies she opened her eyes and
realized that it was finally time to follow her heart and do what she
always wanted to do - working with animals! First
of all she started further studies and became a Remedial Massage
Therapist at the Australian Institute for Applied Sciences. She
realized that her connection with animals was always a loving energy
connection. They taught her, if you give you receive. And that is
basically how energy healing works; it is always an exchange of
energies. One step followed the other – Dagmar became a Tallgrass Small Animal Acupressure Practitioner. Once
the stone started rolling, one course followed the other. After a while
Dagmar realised that quite often a combination of different modalities
brought the best outcome. Over
the time she developed an own method/style to work with an animal, it
involves elements of massage, acupressure, Reiki, EFT, TTouch, Bowen
Technique, Quantum Touch, and Kinesiology. Additionally she quite often
uses successfully the Australian Bush Flower Essences. Due to her continuous studies her method will grow all the time.
