The
first step is always an Initial Assessment (preferably at the client's
place, especially for behavioural issues) to get a full picture of the
whole animal in its familiar environment. The
Initial Assessment consists of an extensive questionnaire including the
pet's medical history and health, nutrition, behaviour and more. The
questionnaire is followed by a quick physical examination of the pet. After
the Initial Assessment the best approach will be identified; this can
be just one modality or a combination of a few modalities.
